Posey ® Twice-As-Tough ® Cuffs (Non-Locking) are designed to limit the movement of wrists and/or ankles in patients assessed to be at risk of disrupting life-saving treatment, pulling lines/tubes, exacerbating skin conditions, compromising wound site integrity, or self-injury. They are used in medical (NVNSD) and behavioral health (VSD) treatments. † These heavy-duty restraint cuffs are gentle on skin. Neoprene fabric, nylon straps, and reinforced stitching provide extra strength* and durability. All Twice-As-Tough Cuffs use D-rings to secure the patient cuff and anchor strap: The Twice-As-Tough Cuffs which can be used for the patient's wrists and/or ankles, feature one of the following anchor strap configurations for bed/stretcher attachment: D-Ring Cuff (Single Strap with D-Ring); Large/Red. Features: Each D-ring comprises two metal rings; Adjustable cuff circumference and strap length; Single anchor strap for simple application and adjustment; Double strap allows you to decrease patient movement by attaching two straps at different anchor points on a bed/stretcher (i.e., triangulation) or enhance security by attaching two straps at the same anchor point on a bed/stretcher.
